The OESC Thrift Store receives numerous donations of beautiful new and slightly used ball gowns. Volunteer, Ashley Chavez states, “We have been getting some beautiful gowns in! I would say about 70% of our gowns still have tags on them!”
The OESC volunteer created an extensive inventory for individuals to browse and borrow a dress for FREE. You may sign a ball gown out for 30 days prior to an event and have simple have to professional dry clean it upon its return within 2 weeks of the event. The OESC Thrift Store is located on Kadena Air Base.

The Marine Thrift Shop has a selection of ball gowns, handbags, and formal shoes available for purchase. The gowns range anywhere from $10-$40 dollars. Manager, Jessica Lewis reveals, “Many of our gowns are received new with tags!” The Marine Thrift Shop is located on Camp Foster.
