Eagle Hardware Locations

Eagle Hardware has locations on Kadena, Foster, Courtney, and Kinser. While the supplies vary at each location based on maintenance needs, every store carries basic necessities. Some items are available for rent, while others are available through a one-for-one swap.

Rental

Rental items are meant to help you in a pinch or while you’re searching for a more permanent solution. Items available for rent include rakes, power washers, ladders, lawnmowers, and much more. Items can be rented for three business days and must be cleaned before being returned.

One-for-One Swap

These are single-use items you might need around the house, specifically for on-base units. Items available for swap include lightbulbs, stove drip pans, slatted blinds, and batteries. To swap, simply bring the non-working item to the checkout counter, and a staff member will assist you.

Sandbags

Once typhoon season starts, you’ll definitely want to have sandbags to secure your belongings. Each on-base unit is entitled to ten free sandbags to place on garbage bins, chairs, or anything else you want to hold down during a storm. Eagle Hardware provides the bags, but you’ll need to shovel the sand and tie them off yourself.

Other Items

One thing you’ll quickly learn is that the color of your base house is standardized, and this paint is only available at Eagle Hardware. Although only small samples are available, they’re perfect for fixing chips or touch-ups. Paint rollers, brushes, and wall patches are also in stock. There are plenty of other useful items, so it’s a good idea to get familiar with the Eagle Hardware near you.

Check-Out & Recycling

To check out any items, simply go to the front desk with your military ID and unit number. You’re also welcome to donate cleaning supplies or lawn care tools you no longer need. Some locations offer recycling services for batteries and lightbulbs, available to both on-base and off-base residents. Check with your local store for details. Eagle Hardware is available to every on-base resident, so be sure to add it to your list of essential resources while living in Okinawa!
