Celebrating your first Christmas in Okinawa? Well, mark your calendars! A Holiday Market will be hosted on 15 December  from 11am-4pm at the Crow’s Nest on Camp Shields!  The Crow’s Nest is known for its relaxed, casual vibe, and during the holiday season, the space is typically transformed to reflect the season. You’ll find it decorated with holiday lights, festive displays, and maybe even a visit from Santa or other holiday-themed activities. The Crow’s Nest’s vendor markets have become increasingly popular this year and are a great event to attend for a Christmas in Okinawa. 

Small business owners from around the island will be gathering to display their holiday items. Expect to find a mix of local Okinawan artisans and vendors from the military community offering handmade goods, unique crafts, jewelry, clothing, decorations, and food items. Some vendors specialize in holiday-specific items, like Christmas ornaments, wreaths, and treats. This is a great opportunity shop for unique gifts for your Christmas in Okinawa.

Talented Vendors for a Homemade Christmas in Okinawa

This year, there will be several new and returning popular Shop Oki and returning well-known merchants ready to blow you away with their talent. Here are some of this year’s talented vendors:

Many vendors at Camp Shields markets are military spouses, veterans, or active-duty service members. By shopping at these markets, you are directly supporting the local military community. The Holiday Market environment is perfect for getting into the holiday spirit during Christmas in Okinawa.
